(13.3% alcohol, 85% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc) 150th anniversary. I just read the Merlot on September 28th, the latest harvest time in years. Ruby red color. The nose is a pure joy, clear and pure, dried violets, iris, a mix of dark and red fruits, subtle spice, a perfume. The palate is juicy and fresh, clear and pure at the start, with incredibly precise fruit, fine-grained tannins, a medium body, lively and fresh, with an incredible amount of race and a long-lasting, red-fruity finish. A delicate counselor with a good horizon in life ahead of her. 2028-2050+ (Tasted "En Primeur" in April 2022. Château La Conseillante)

Blackberry, lavender, dried violet, and sandalwood follow through to a medium body, with very fine and velvety tannins that give a polished and caressing texture. Fresh and vivid. Drink after 2028.

Violets, incense, black raspberry, dark kirsch, plums, espresso, and earthy overtones crowd into the finish. Deeply colored, on the palate the wine is exactly as it should be, elegant, refined, lifted, vivacious, and energetic, with a savory edge to the earthy red fruits and a hint of oak that should become completely integrated with a few years time. Perhaps this is a modern day version of the 1985, which if you have not tasted it lately, has aged extremely well. The harvest took place September 28, October 10, making this the latest vintage in the history of the estate. The wine blends 85% Merlot with 15% Cabernet Franc, 13.3% ABV, 3.6 pH. The yields were 39 hectoliters per hectare. Drink from 2025-2050. 94-96
